Lynette Hoy:

Is the President of the Anger Management Institute. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Illinois; a Certified Anger Management Specialist-V, Diplomate, Consultant and Supervisor with the National Anger Management Association. Mrs. Hoy co-founded CounselCare Connection, P.C. an organization providing counseling and resources for individuals and couples dealing with various issues. Lynette is a Critical Incident Stress Management provider, and a crisis counselor with the Crisis Care Network providing counseling and debriefing to various companies. Lynette recently completed 111 hours of GPSS leadership coach training.

Lynette is an anger management specialist and trainer providing various anger management certificate courses. Mrs. Hoy successfully completed the American Counseling Association Program in Anger Management for counselors. The Anger Management Institute Trainer-Specialist Workshops have been approved for 12 NBCC CEs; 12 NASW CEUs; 13 IAODAPCA CEUs; 13 NAMA CEUs; 12 NAADAC CEUs. DVD and Online Training programs are approved for 15/12 CEs by NBCC and 12 CEUs by IAODAPCA.

Co-author of all editions of What’s Good About Anger? Mrs. Hoy has trained hundreds of students and clients in anger and conflict management and has certified over 750 leaders as Trainers/Specialists in Anger Management through-out the USA. She has authored various workbooks, training manuals and articles in anger management. Lynette is a Domestic Violence Advocate having taken the approved Domestic Violence 40-Hour Training program with the Chicago Metropolitan Battered Women’s Network. Lynette writes for the Godly Business Woman, American Association of Christian Counselors and other publications and has been interviewed on various radio programs and televised on Primary Focus. Lynette is a seminar presenter for AACC, Rapha, business, community and women’s groups and part of the Christian Speaker Network! Ted Griffin is:

Co-author of both What’s Good About Anger? books. He is the Senior Editor of Crossway Books, a division of Good News Publishers. He has authored numerous gospel tracts, including the best-selling You’re Special and is working on several books. He is a seminar presenter, an adult Sunday School teacher and currently an elder at Calvary Memorial Church. He and his wife, Lois, have been married for 43 years and have two grown children. Having grown up under an alcoholic father, he has personally struggled with and has extensively studied anger issues.

Steve Yeschek, LCSW, CAMS-IV:

Is the co-founder of CounselCare Connection, P.C. and the Anger Management Institute. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Illinois and a Certified Anger Management Specialist-IV, Diplomate, Consultant and Supervisor with the National Anger Management Association. Steve brings years of clinical expertise and experience in training and counseling clients and groups in anger, addictions, mood and behavioral disorders and relationships issues. Steve is a co-presenter of the anger management Trainer certification conferences with Lynette. He also has been trained in coaching skills.

Programs and Courses:

Our anger management certificate courses have been accepted throughout the USA by courts, probation officers, correctional institutions, employers, etc. All courses, Trainer certificate programs and home-study certificate courses are provided by the Anger Management Institute.
We offered the first Anger Management Trainer conference in 2006 in Oak Park, Illinois. We have been offering Anger Management Trainer-Specialist Certification Workshops 3 or more times every year in Illinois and now are offering workshops in Texas. The on-site Anger Management Trainer programs have been approved by NBCC for up to 12 CEs for LCPCs, LPCs, and by NASW for 12 CEUs for LCSWs, LSWs. IAODAPCA (ICB) has approved our workshops for 13 CEUs. AMI is an approved CE provider with NBCC: #6577. Most state licensure boards now accept CEs awarded by NBCC.  NAADAC accepts CEs awarded by NBCC approved programs. Many professional state licensing boards for psychologists and LMFTs accept CEs awarded by NBCC approved programs also.
